Medical Staff
At Eye Physicians & Surgeons of Texas, we take the utmost care in hiring our medical staff. Our ophthalmic assistants are a compassionate, experienced, and educated component of our patient care philosophy. The medical staff operates within the team structure, with each Doctor acting as the head of his or her own team. The team concept has assisted in making the patient flow a smoother one, and virtually eliminated the long wait for the patient before seeing the physician.
Our medical staff is encouraged and assisted by the practice to expand and update their medical knowledge and expertise. We offer continuing education opportunities for all of our medical staff on a regular basis, making our medical staff one of the most highly educated and competent in ophthalmic medicine today.
Clerical Staff
Our clerical staff comprises those individuals who schedule your appointments, verify insurance and answer questions about billing. We have taken care to staff our offices with caring individuals who share our compassion and desire to provide the best possible environment for our patients. Be it in person or over the telephone, you will be treated in a courteous and efficient manner.
Administrative
Since 1997 Karen Raines has been the Administrator of Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Texas. Under her capable leadership, the Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Texas family has grown to over forty employees. Karen's knowledge, warmth, and compassion have helped to make Eye Physicians and Surgeons of Texas an employee and patient friendly environment.
